Welcome to NB Cuisine. By using this site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. NB Cuisine is operated by Gerard Godin, a private individual based in New Brunswick, Canada.

What this site is

NB Cuisine is a non-commercial archive of New Brunswick heritage recipes. We curate and adapt recipes from public-domain cookbooks, community collections, and family traditions, and publish them in English and French.

Recipes are provided as-is

Cooking carries inherent risk. We do our best to transcribe and adapt recipes faithfully, but we make no warranties about the accuracy, safety, suitability, or nutritional content of any recipe. You are responsible for verifying ingredient safety, food handling, allergens, and any dietary considerations before preparing or consuming any dish from this site.

Intellectual property

Historical recipes published here are drawn from public-domain sources or are reproduced under fair-dealing exceptions for educational and cultural purposes. Where applicable, we credit the original cookbook or contributor.

The original content on this site — including the curatorial commentary, headnotes, descriptions, photographs we produce, and the site design — is © 2026 Gerard Godin. All rights reserved unless otherwise noted. You may quote brief portions for non-commercial purposes (a paragraph or so) with attribution and a link back. For anything more substantial, please ask first.

If you submit a recipe, photo, or other content

When you submit a recipe, photograph, or other material through this site, you confirm that:

It is your work, or you otherwise have the right to share it.
It does not infringe anyone else's rights.

You grant NB Cuisine a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, display, adapt (for example, lightly editing for clarity or translating into the other official language), and archive your submission as part of the site. You retain ownership of your submission and may ask us to remove it at any time by contacting us.

Takedown requests

If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright or another right, please email gerard@getgointernetcoaching.com with:

The URL of the content in question.
A description of your right and the basis for your claim.
Your contact information.

We will review and respond within a reasonable period, typically by removing the content while we investigate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NB Cuisine and Gerard Godin are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or the recipes published here. The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
